Commercial Development Manager

You will not take over a finished business. You will help build it. On behalf of HydraSpecma, Medarbejderne ApS is looking for a Commercial Development Manager who can turn HydraSpecma’s technical capabilities and industrial platform into market access, customer opportunities and a sustainable business within liquid cooling for data centers.

Build the market - not just the pipeline

HydraSpecma is building a strategic business area within Data Center Cooling, and the assignment is deliberately broader than a traditional sales role. You will help determine where HydraSpecma should position itself, which customers and partners matter most, and how technical capabilities can be converted into a scalable commercial offering.

Your initial focus will be the Nordic market. You will map the value chain, create access to relevant decision-makers and turn market dialogue into qualified opportunities, business cases, pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives. Over time, the ambition is to expand into selected EMEA markets as the business develops.

A role between market, technology and strategy

You will work across hyperscalers, colocation providers, EPC contractors, system integrators, OEMs and other stakeholders that influence specifications and supplier choices. You are expected to understand how projects are initiated, where decisions are made and how long-term positions are built in technically complex environments.

Internally, you will act as a commercial bridge between the market, senior management and HydraSpecma’s technical specialists. Early success is therefore not measured by revenue alone. It is also measured by whether HydraSpecma gains a clear view of the market, a strong position in the value chain and a qualified pipeline with relevant customers and projects. International travel is a natural part of the role. Your primary workplace will be either Silkeborg or Skjern.

What will make you successful?

You are already credible in the data center ecosystem or in a closely related technical infrastructure environment. Experience with hyperscale data centers, liquid cooling, thermal management, critical infrastructure, industrial cooling, HVAC, energy, hydraulics or fluid systems can all be relevant if you bring real market understanding and access.

You combine strategic thinking with practical business development. You are comfortable opening doors yourself, following opportunities closely and creating momentum before every part of the strategy or sales setup is fully defined. Your educational background is less important than your ability to connect market insight, technology and commercial opportunity.
