Pitaya is opening a brand-new store at Väla shopping centre, just outside Helsingborg, on 21 November 2026. We are looking for an ambitious Store Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for getting the store, team and sales off to a strong start.

You will have the opportunity to build the store’s culture and daily routines from the beginning. Your most important task will be to turn Pitaya’s brand and ambitions into a store where customers feel inspired, employees succeed together and commercial goals become tangible results.

Your responsibilities

As Store Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the store’s sales, team, customer experience and day-to-day operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of the store’s revenue, results and key sales targets

• Monitoring performance and turning goals and KPIs into concrete action

• Being visible on the shop floor and leading by example in sales and customer service

• Leading, motivating and developing the store team

• Delegating responsibilities, setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback

• Planning the rota and ensuring appropriate staffing levels

• Contributing to recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members

• Building a positive, energetic and results-focused team culture

• Ensuring the store is always inspiring, ready for customers and aligned with Pitaya’s visual identity

• Overseeing stock, deliveries, inventory, till operations and daily store routines

• Ensuring efficient opening and closing procedures and consistent follow-up on agreements and processes

• Working closely with the Head of Retail and the wider organisation on results, challenges and opportunities for improvement

You need to be able to see the bigger picture and understand what the store needs in the longer term, while also being ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved in everyday tasks.

Who are you?

We imagine that you:

• Have leadership experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle or another sales- and service-focused industry

• Have a proven understanding of sales, operations and commercial performance

• Can set a clear direction and bring your team with you

• Are confident in motivating people, setting expectations and following up

• Work in a structured way and maintain an overview in a busy environment

• Are decisive and take responsibility when something needs solving

• Have a strong eye for customer experience and visual presentation

• Enjoy working independently in an organisation with quick decision-making

• Are flexible and willing to work both weekdays and weekends

You do not need to have every answer from the start. But you do need the drive and ability to take ownership, develop people and deliver results through your team.

Working hours

The role is 37 hours per week. Working hours will be planned around the needs of the store and include both weekdays and weekends.
