Key Account Manager

Working closely with distributors, channel partners, contractors, municipalities, utilities, and end users, you will help deliver customer-focused solutions that support business growth while advancing Emerson's values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Drive sales growth by conducting site visits, assessing customer needs, and providing technical guidance to existing and prospective customers.
• Support sales activities through accurate reporting, including documenting customer visits, action plans, sales opportunities, and follow-up activities.
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing customer relationships to achieve business objectives.
• Deliver product demonstrations and represent Emerson at trade shows, customer events, roadshows, and industry gatherings.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, dealers, and end users across targeted market segments.
• Provide product knowledge and sales training to distributor teams and customer organizations.
• Utilize customer relationship management tools and other business systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including construction companies, municipalities, contractors, utilities, and industrial customers.
• Analyze market opportunities and customer needs to align Emerson's product portfolio with target customers and distribution partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and support long-term business growth.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience developing business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales objectives in industrial, electrical, utility, renewable energy, manufacturing, or related markets.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to understand equipment, technologies, and customer applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Danish.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Effective presentation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based environment while effectively managing priorities and customer commitments.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as required.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Technical education, training, or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Experience working with distributors, channel partners, or technical sales organizations.
• Knowledge of Scandinavian industrial, utility, infrastructure, or renewable energy markets.
• German language skills.
