THE ROLE: HEAD OF PERFORMANCE MARKETING

As Head of Performance Marketing you will be the driving force behind our user acquisition, balancing growth and ROI. This is a pivotal role that requires both high-level strategic planning, a strong investment mindset, and a great operational presence in both search and social. You will define our performance marketing strategy, manage our large budget across Europe together with our agency, lead our paid efforts through optimized feeds, and ultimately maximize our return on ad spend (pROAS) while driving sustainable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategic leadership: Develop the overarching strategy, KPIs, and manage the budget for all Landfolk performance marketing channels, focusing on paid search (Google Ads), paid social (Meta, TikTok, etc.), programmatic, and others.
• Paid search and social excellence: Manage sophisticated, high-performing campaigns to acquire new guests and hosts. You will continuously optimize bidding strategies, audience targeting, and ad creatives.
• Operational execution: Be willing to roll up your sleeves and build campaigns, conduct keyword research, A/B test ad copy, and ensure high-quality, high-converting output across all paid touchpoints.
• Performance and optimization: Utilize data and insights to continuously measure the effectiveness of performance marketing efforts, optimize campaign performance, build attribution models, and report key metrics to leadership.
• Growth across a two-sided marketplace: Balance optimization of spend and performance in established markets with entering and scaling new markets. Because Landfolk is a two-sided marketplace, you will help shape acquisition strategies for both guests and hosts.
• Product, data and engineering collaboration: Work closely with our strong in-house product, data, and engineering teams to develop and improve tracking, measurement infrastructure, landing pages, and conversion journeys—so site-side execution becomes a growth lever, not a bottleneck.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate who is ready to make a significant impact on our journey.

• Proven expertise: Solid, demonstrable experience developing and executing performance marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
• Hands-on operator: You are not afraid of day-to-day execution on the platform (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, etc.). You are organized, analytical, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Analytical mastermind: You love data and have extensive experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Meridian, MMM, investment analytics) and understand how to navigate complex attribution models.
• MarTech and AI-savvy: Deep understanding and practical experience with marketing technology, including AI tools.
