Senior / Advanced Windows Operations Specialist

The Role
We are expanding our Platform Services team and are looking for an experienced Windows Operations Specialist to join our global team.

You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise Windows environments , working closely with internal teams and external vendors. The global team operates in a 24/7 setup , including on-call duty and planned maintenance windows .

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain enterprise Windows server environments
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in line with ITIL processes
• Manage incident, problem, and change processes
• Execute enterprise patch management and coordinate patch cycles
• Perform root cause analysis and support major incident resolution
• Automate and optimize tasks using PowerShell scripting
• Manage deployments and package rollouts (e.g., HPSA)
• Collaborate across teams and technologies to ensure stable service delivery
• Support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years of experience with Windows Server environments
• Strong knowledge of patch management and security updates
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)
• Hands-on experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
• Scripting experience with PowerShell
• Good understanding of AD, DNS, PKI (advanced knowledge is a plus)
• Familiarity with Azure AD is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Relevant certifications (ITIL, Windows Server) are a plus

This position requires successful completion of customer-specific security clearance procedures.
The successful candidate must be willing to provide all information required for Danish customer security screening and be able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance.

As some customer environments operate under strict security and compliance requirements, obtaining and maintaining this clearance is an essential condition of employment.
