2D animator (remote)

We’re looking for a talented 2D Animator with game development experience—ideally in mobile games—to join the growing All Aces Games team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative environment, can take ownership of their work, and is comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.

The ideal candidate combines strong animation fundamentals with deep technical knowledge of the Spine-to-Unity workflow. You’ll play a key role in bringing games to life through expressive, polished animations across characters, environments, and UI, while collaborating closely with designers and programmers to shape the final player experience.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Create high-quality 2D animations in Spine for characters, buildings, UI elements, and other in-game assets

• Add new skins and content to existing rigs, including asset preparation, cutting, and implementation

• Export and integrate animation assets into Unity

• Pre-visualize animated UI flows and interactions in After Effects

• Create Unity-based animations when needed

• Contribute to marketing and promotional assets as required

• Work closely with designers, artists, and programmers to ensure animations support gameplay and overall polish

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Strong expertise in Spine2D, including complex rigging and skin workflows

• Working knowledge of Unity, including importing Spine assets and creating Unity animations

• Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, weight, and motion

• Proficiency in After Effects and Photoshop

• Ability to prepare and cut assets for animation, including filling in missing visual elements where necessary

• Ability to create keyframe artwork/assets when needed

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

• Strong communication skills, openness to feedback, and a collaborative mindset

• Experience developing games for the mobile market

Nice to Have

• Experience animating stylized UI and VFX elements

• Familiarity with optimization workflows for mobile games

• Experience contributing to live-service or content-driven games
