Severex is looking for a Level Designer to join our mobile puzzle games team.
We’re looking for a specialist who can create engaging, high-quality levels for casual/puzzle games and understands how level design impacts player retention, engagement, monetization, and overall player behavior.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
Design and balance levels for mobile puzzle games (Word, Block, Sort Puzzle, and similar genres)
Build and maintain a well-structured difficulty curve throughout the player journey
Analyze level performance using product metrics and use insights to improve existing content and design new levels
Work across multiple projects simultaneously
What kind of professional are we looking for?
3+ years of experience designing levels for mobile puzzle games (Word, Block, Sort Puzzles)
Experience building and maintaining difficulty curves in live products
Strong understanding of player psychology and engagement drivers
Experience analyzing level performance and making design decisions based on product metrics
Strong systems thinking and the ability to clearly justify design decisions and recommendations
