Associate Vice President, Clinical R&D

Agilent seeks an Associate Vice President of Clinical R&D to lead global development of clinical diagnostic solutions, managing product roadmaps across assays, instruments, software, and workflows. The role requires strategic leadership to drive execution from concept through commercialization while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute clinical diagnostic development roadmap across assays, instruments, software, and integrated solutions
- Lead new product development from concept through design transfer and commercialization
- Ensure programs meet customer, clinical, technical, quality, regulatory, financial, and schedule objectives
- Align R&D efforts with Product Management, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Quality, and other organizational functions
- Build and develop high-performing global R&D organization while driving process improvements and modernization
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in scientific, engineering, software, or technical discipline
- At least 10 years of product development experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or regulated industries
- At least 7 years of progressively responsible leadership experience
- Demonstrated success leading global multidisciplinary teams and launching complex products
- Strong knowledge of medical-device and IVD development, design controls, and regulations
- Proven strategic, financial, and cross-functional leadership capabilities
- Full professional fluency in written and spoken English
