This entry level position into a global and known consumer brand organization is a big opportunity. You will get to learn bottom up how the LEGO Retail business works and get exposed to the foundational commercial processes linked to our expanding data environment. Using the newest and strongest analytics tool available and big data methodologies, this role will help make sense of the data through our data lake environment.

This role offers a unique chance to experience retail data and language which you would not normally not be exposed to in a production company like The LEGO Group. This international role will expose you to many different cultures and consumer behaviours, hence, increase your awareness of how important it is to be able to collaborate across borders.

Core Responsibilities

This role will be important for our team and help Retail BI to become a stable and trusted business partner. The person will be our safety net for reporting and ensuring our data quality and integrity, alongside validating report structures and enabling key operational measures and communication.

• Number oriented, but no need for extensive IT know-how.
• Should be flexible as we work in a global set up across many time zones.
• Structure and precision key qualities, helping to ensure consistency & reliability across our data products.
• to work across various platforms & multiple key stakeholders.
• Adaptable & keen to learn across a variety of platforms & business areas, connecting with multiple key stakeholders.

Play your part in our team succeeding

The department’s key focus is to create and enable self-service data intelligence products for LEGO Retail data consumers and strategic decision makers.

Further, partnering with the analytics & insights commercial partners to craft these data points into crisp and action-oriented business recommendation to support both short term operational optimisation as well as tactical and strategical decision. The team is supporting cross functional in the commercial value chain Marketing, Finance, Operations, Stores and e-Commerce.

LEGO Retail as a standalone business unit was established in 2017 and since then we have established several standard processes and standard reporting tools, and we need help to manage and maintain these plus help with communicating daily and weekly standard reporting to key stakeholders across the business.

This position will become a key enabler to the way we operate our business on a day-to-day basis, which will give great insights to the Retail area in the LEGO Group and to how we operate as a newly start business within the business.

Do you have what it takes?

• Current student on second or third year of a university or related schooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent working experience.
• Business-related study background year 3-4 of university or related schooling.
• High level of English both written and verbal is a must as there will be communication with stakeholders across the globe (Mainly UK, US and Singapore) both via mails and in meetings.

Nice to have:

• Global mindset, have spent time outside Denmark is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar is a benefit
