UX/UI Designer - Own the Journey from Insight to Interface

We're looking for a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer on behalf of a Danish B2B tech startup/scaleup. The company helps industrial and fleet operators turn scattered equipment data into smarter, more sustainable decisions. Since The Hub is covering the initial aspects of the recruitment process, we can't tell you more about the product yet - but we can tell you the kind of work you'd be doing. This position is based in Central Jutland, within commuting distance from the Viborg/Randers/Herning/Aarhus/Horsens area.

THE ROLE

You'll get the product direction and the business need, but you won't get a spec telling you what to draw. Instead, you'll be trusted to figure out what the right solution actually is: talking to users, running workshops, mapping behaviour and pain points, shaping flows, prototyping, testing, iterating: and finally delivering UI at a level of craft that makes the rest of the team want to build it immediately. This is a role for someone who likes owning the whole arc rather than being handed a piece of it. You should as such have experience with UX/UI design end-to-end, so that you're able to take a problem and run with it all the way from first question to a finished interface ready to build. Regarding seniority, we’re looking for someone with at least three years of experience. However, we’re not focused on titles - talent, skills and motivation matter far more to us. We’re driving significant growth in industries that have high potential, and we’re looking for someone who is excited to help shape that journey.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Take a defined problem or business need and independently investigate the best solution
• Plan and run research (both exploratory and validating) from problem framing and interview guide to analysis and communication of findings
• Run customer interviews and workshops, and turn what you hear into clear direction
• Map user needs, pain points and opportunities, and help the team decide what to act on
• Design flows, prototypes and polished, implementation-ready UI
• Test your ideas with real users, then iterate in close collaboration with developers and the product team.

WHO YOU ARE

You:

• Have solid experience across both UX and UI, and craft truly userfriendly, clear and aesthetic designs.
• Can own a process end to end without waiting to be told the next step
• Are curious and analytical, and genuinely enjoy understanding why people do what they do
• Can zoom into the detail of a micro-interaction and back out to the bigger picture
• Communicate clearly and create direction with others rather than designing in isolation
• Use AI as a natural part of how you work, in research, in exploration, in prototyping, in production. We're looking for someone who's ahead of the curve here, not someone who's heard of it.
• Speak both Danish and English fluently

Bonus if you:

• Have worked in B2B or another complex domain where making things understandable is half the job
• Have experience mixing qualitative and quantitative research
• Are sharp at visualising insights and flows so other people actually get them

HOW THEY WORK

Small team, short distance from idea to shipped. Decisions get made in the room, not in a steering committee. You'll work closely with developers and product, in fast loops between idea, test and learning.
