ABOUT JURIS

Juris is on a mission to make legal issues simpler to solve, for the people who face them. Most never reach a lawyer. They land on HR and compliance leads, public-sector caseworkers, and in-house teams who have to get it right without legal training. We give them an answer they can act on and defend, drawn from the actual law, lawyer or not. Since 2024, Juris AI has delivered reliable legal research for Danish companies and the public sector, grounded in verified Danish legal sources, not the open internet. Every answer traces back to where it came from. Now we are introducing Juris OS, the operating system for legal work. It brings the legal sources, your own cases and documents (Collections), fixed workflows for repeating work (Workflows), and control over how AI is used (Governance) into one place. We start with Danish employment and HR law and build out from there. You would join a small, agile team and own the core.

We are an AI-native company. AI is how we build, operate and ship every day, not a tool we reach for occasionally. It is why we stay deliberately small and highly leveraged.

• We ship fast, and we stand behind what we ship.
• Small team, real ownership, no passengers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own the AI build end to end: retrieval over Danish legal sources, agent workflows, the Python and FastAPI backend, and the product on top.
• Work spec-first and agent-driven. Claude Code, Cursor and agents are your default way of working, not a side experiment.
• Ship fast, then own the verification: security, grounding and traceability.
• Sit with the professionals using Juris, make the commercial call yourself, and build what moves the business over what is merely clever.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have shipped real LLM, RAG and agent systems into production. Notebooks and demos do not count.
• You are fully embedded in modern AI tooling. It is your default way of building, not something you are trying out, and you push it forward as the tools change. If AI is an occasional add-on for you, this is not your role.
• You hold the line on security and code quality, and you treat them as what lets you ship fast with AI, not as a brake on it. When agents generate code quickly, your judgment and review are what turn that into shipped product instead of a review backlog.
• You read the business, not just the ticket, and can judge whether a thing is worth building.
• People want to build with you again. You explain hard things simply and work well with non-engineers.
• You want ownership and the scope you cannot get as engineer number fifty somewhere else.

NICE TO HAVE

• A pull toward legal, regulated or otherwise hard domains.
• We are based in Copenhagen. We prefer you in Denmark or Europe, but it is not a hard requirement. We will talk to the right person wherever they are.
• Danish is a plus, never a requirement.

This is a founding seat, not a job at a finished company. You join at the start of Juris OS, own a real piece of it, and your work shapes what Juris becomes. Compensation is equity-led to match the stage, and we will be open about exactly how the ownership works when we talk.
