Job Description

We are currently seeking a Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our vibrant team here at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen . As a Restaurant & Bar Manager, you bring creativity, a strong sense of ownership, and an unwavering commitment to exceptional service. You will play a key role in driving the daily operation of our restaurant and bars, combining strong leadership with a hands-on approach on the floor. You will lead by example, working alongside the team during service, engaging with guests and ensuring that our high standards are consistently delivered. Your role is at the core of our culinary haven, where your innovation and dedication shine, taking our dining experiences to new heights. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Leads and supports the smooth running of the food & beverage department, ensuring that all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels. 

• Takes an active, hands-on role in the daily operation, working on the floor alongside the team during service and stepping in where needed to ensure a smooth and successful operation. 

• Leads by example, remaining visible and engaged during service, interacting with guests and supporting the team in delivering exceptional experiences. 

• Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries. 

• Delivers on plans and objectives where food & beverage initiatives and hotel targets are achieved. 

• Manages the food & beverage team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department. 

• Responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, and that productivity and performance levels are attained. 

• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders. 

• Delivers effective initiatives that advance service standards, profitability and cost control. 

• Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food & beverage service with excellent problem-solving capabilities. 

• Excellent managerial skills with a strong hands-on approach and a lead-by-example work style. 

• Willingness and ability to be actively involved in daily operations and work alongside the team on the floor. 

• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry. 

• Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations. 

• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands teamwork, time and energy. 

• Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms. 

• Strong communication skills. 

• Fluent in spoken and written Danish as well as English.
