Are you ready to drive real change and leave your mark on the Supply Chain Sustainability agenda in Europe’s biggest dairy cooperative? We are looking for a passionate, End-to-End business-oriented and impact-driven Supply Chain Sustainability Manager to help shape our strategic sustainability transformation and accelerate performance across our global Supply Chain.

How you will make an impact
You will join our global Supply Chain Sustainability team of twelve colleagues located across Denmark, the UK and Sweden. Together, we define the global Supply Chain Sustainability strategy and anchor it across our operations - from production and logistics sites to processes, culture and ways of working. Our key focus areas are Energy, Carbon, Food Waste and Water, with potential expansion into other nature-related areas in the future.

In this role, you will turn sustainability priorities into business-relevant actions and play a key role in shaping, coordinating and developing the agenda across focus areas. This includes acting as a trusted support to the Head of Supply Chain Sustainability on strategic development and envisioning the future of Supply Chain Sustainability, senior presentations, strategic cross-functional projects and activities, and develop the future digital roadmap for sustainability. Your main responsibilities will be to

• Lead sustainability business development by driving cross-cutting initiatives across Energy, Carbon, Food Waste and Water, developing activities that support the overall agenda and translating strategic priorities into clear business opportunities
• Strengthen our performance improvement agenda through insights, data, governance and close collaboration with IT to shape a digital roadmap that supports future sustainability performance
• Own and develop the sustainability program portfolio by building new ones based on business needs, program governance, and roll-out of sustainability programs across sites and markets to fuel the pipeline of Energy, Carbon, Food Waste and Water reduction initiatives enabling Arla to achieve our ambitious Sustainability goals
• Drive and coordinate the Sustainability CAPEX portfolio ensuring strong governance, transparent cash flow overview and tracking, project approvals, annual framework planning and a clear strategic outlook towards our 2030 sustainability targets

You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across and outside the organization, ensuring strong coordination, assessing the impact of initiatives and translating sustainability priorities into business-relevant actions. To succeed, you will need to become a trusted sparring partner, build strong relationships and foster engagement and motivation at different levels of the Supply Chain organization.

The role will be based at Arla Foods’ headquarters in Viby, Denmark, and some travel should be expected.

What will make you successful
We imagine that you bring a strong understanding of Supply Chain and are motivated by turning strategic priorities into practical business impact. Sustainability experience is an advantage, but what matters most is your ability to navigate a complex organisation, bring people together and move important agendas forward. More specifically, you

• Have experience from Supply Chain, Business Development, Project or Program Management, Finance, Engineering or a similar field - combined with the ability to understand operational realities and translate them into clear priorities
• Bring a strategic mindset and strong project leadership skills, with the structure needed to drive progress in a complex and sometimes uncertain environment
• Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels - from senior leaders to site directors and operational teams - and know how to align different perspectives
• Are self-driven, energetic and able to take ownership, bringing relevant topics to the table and pushing things forward in a constructive way

You hold a relevant master’s degree, for example within Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field. You communicate fluently in English and are curious about how sustainability can strengthen business performance across Supply Chain.
