Quality Assurance Coordinator (senior)

We are looking for an experienced QA Coordinator to join our Data & Analytics division responsible for new BEC data platform with ambitious growth strategy. You would join Reporting Solutions domain which is in charge of delivery of regulatory, credit and financial reporting for and on behalf of our customer banks to Danish and European regulatory administrations.

You will collaborate closely with several key domains across BEC and a third-party vendors, suppliers. Your work will be central to ensuring quality across the Reporting Solutions domain, both in terms of product delivery and process maturity. As QA Coordinator, you will be responsible for setting future QA standards and driving continuous improvement across the domain, work with QAEs. You will be hands-on in setting up, coordinating and reporting on cross-team testing activities, tests automation oversight, while also ensuring that QA processes and procedures are well-designed and successfully implemented across domain teams. This is a unique opportunity to shape the QA foundation for the whole domain from the ground up. You will be part of a forward-thinking domain working with critical solutions that directly serve our customers.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Hands-on involvement in key projects to build them with right level of QA measures/testing
• Interacting with various stakeholders, such as QA coordinators, business analysts, QAEs, developers, subject matter experts, both inside the domain, across BEC and external vendors
• Mentoring (distribute information, advising, organizing test sessions, share test perspectives)
• Coaching and consulting (testing practices motivation, collaboration, metrics)
• Implementation of BEC common Quality Assurance processes, procedures and guidance on a domain/team level – especially within Java and MS Azure technologies
• Facilitate and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes, quality of code delivery and automation of testing – eg. creating test plans and defect management
• Be an QA “activist” that ensure the QA processes and objectives are successful, by actively engage with relevant stakeholders
• Be the ambassador between the domain and the central QA organization

To succeed you will have:

• 3+ years of experience in managing a quality team/role
• Solid knowledge of testing and quality assurance practices
• Experience with test techniques and tools (e.g. Jira Xray, Postman)
• Proven experience in establishing and implementing test processes
• Strong experience in automated testing (framework implementation)
• Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities
• Ability to analyze and interpret quality control metrics
• Experience with agile testing and an agile mindset
• A research-oriented mindset, with the ability to explore and evaluate new tools, techniques, and approaches
• Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (written and spoken)

It’s nice-to-have:

• Knowledge and experience in Financial/Banking Sector
• Knowledge of testing on IBM mainframe/API/events
• ISTQB Foundation certification
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification
