tinyBuild is a video game label started in 2011 with the idea of creating long-term, recognizable franchises by partnering up with talented developers from all over the world. The company has released dozens of games, including Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, SpeedRunners, and more. Headquartered in the Seattle Area, USA, the company now has studios across the US, the Netherlands, Latvia, and throughout Eastern Europe.

We are currently looking for an Associate Producer to join our core publishing team, who will be immersed in the video game publishing pipeline and truly understands how all the pieces fit together. Your diverse publishing background, hard-player experience, and absolute obsession with indie gaming culture are the most critical qualifications for this job. 

You will help to oversee the production of multiple PC and console titles created by teams across the world, providing publishing services to ensure their success.

The candidate is expected to work remotely.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Work closely with the Executive Producer to help our development teams bring their games to market at the desired quality, budget, and timeline;

• Understand player expectations and market changes to help teams steer their vision in the right direction;

• Work closely with internal teams to support, market, and launch titles across multiple platforms. It is a generalist role, and you’ll have to view the processes holistically.

• Help define and manage the milestone schedules and ensure the delivery of high quality builds throughout development cycle;

• Participate in evaluating new game pitches, early builds and prospective partner studios.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• You have proven work experience in the games industry, specifically within publishing. The roles like Associate Producer, Project Manager, Marketing Manager, SMM, and Community Manager would be the best match You need to understand the holistic publishing cycle;

• You are a hardcore PC gamer (console gaming is a very strong plus). Be prepared to show us your Steam account - we want to see your gaming history! 

• You have a deep, active interest in indie games and the culture surrounding them. You should be playing new releases and keep up to date with the trends.

• You possess deep knowledge of Steam and its player community from a user’s perspective. Familiarity with the Steam backend/developer side is a strong advantage. 

• You have top-notch communication skills in fluent written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus) - you can explain complex ideas and manage expectations;

• Proactive approach, high sense of ownership and a team player’s mindset;

• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time, with different deadlines and requirements.
