Finance Data Analyst

As our new Finance Data Analyst you'll join the Accounting & Control team based in Copenhagen, reporting to Britta Kastler, working to turn messy finance data into something the whole team can trust and build on. To be upfront: the pipes are still being built. You won't inherit a polished warehouse — you'll help shape one, and there's real room to leave your mark. What will you do?

• Partner with the accounting team and other finance teams to automate manual steps in the month-end close, making it faster and less painful every cycle
• Help shape the financial data architecture — the foundation everything else in finance is built on
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting — P&L, balance sheet, key KPIs — that finance stakeholders actually rely on
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues across finance source systems, and steadily improve data integrity over time
• Be the key link between product, tech, and accounting — partnering with the data and tech squads to improve the underlying finance data infrastructure, and translating finance's needs into technical requirements (and back again)
• Use AI (Claude) to rethink and overhaul the monthly close, reporting, and other finance data related processes from the ground up

What are we looking for in you?

• 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, with a strong data foundation
• Solid hands-on skills in SQL and Python for extracting, transforming, and modelling data
• Comfortable working with imperfect, evolving data — you can navigate and improve it rather than waiting for it to be clean
• Comfortable around finance concepts and genuinely keen to deepen your understanding (no finance degree required)
• Curious about AI and excited to use tools like Claude to make real processes better
