Communication Specialist

At Danish Crown, we are looking for a skilled Communication Specialist to strengthen our internal communication and help turn business priorities, leadership messages and strategic initiatives into content and stories that inform, engage and connect employees across the organisation.

You will work closely with colleagues across Danish Crown as part of the Group Communication & Public Affairs team. Together, we focus on creating communication that helps employees understand where we are heading as a company, why it matters and how they contribute to our success.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling and content creation. Someone who enjoys developing communication concepts and formats, and who is constantly looking for new ways to engage audiences through articles, videos and other formats.

About the role
You will become part of a small communications team where we collaborate closely across disciplines and support each other when needed. Your primary focus will be on internal communication, but we work as one team and help each other across areas when priorities require it.

As Communication Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing important messages and strategies to life through engaging content for our internal channels such as the intranet, information screens etc.

You will be responsible for identifying compelling stories, creating content across formats and channels, and continuously exploring new ways to communicate with diverse employee groups.

The corporate language is English, and most communication is developed in English. Strong English skills in writing and spoken are therefore required.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging content across channels and formats, including articles, videos, and podcasts.
• Turn complex business topics, strategies and change initiatives into clear and compelling communication
• Identify, develop and test new content concepts and communication formats that strengthen employee engagement
• Plan and manage content across internal communication channels (e.g. intranet, information screens etc.)
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions to identify stories and communication opportunities
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Danish Crown's internal communication approach

About you
You may have a background in journalism, communication or a related field. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating content that people want to read, watch and engage with.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong storytelling skills and a solid journalistic toolbox with a keen eye for what makes communication relevant and engaging
• Is an excellent writer with experience in creating content across multiple formats and channels
• Has experience developing communication concepts, formats and content that capture attention and drive understanding
• Combines creativity with a strong sense of structure and execution
• Enjoys working hands-on with production of stories and articles
• Builds strong relationships and is comfortable connecting with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation

Experience with video and audio production is an advantage, but what matters most is your ability to create communication that resonates with our colleagues.
