Senior Project Engineer - Filling & Mixing

You will become responsible for specifying and implementing capacity expansion projects
This position has been created to support our capacity expansion, with a particular focus on processing our haemostatic matrix – a gelatine-based paste.

You will be part of the dynamic Process Engineering & Validation Department where we ensure stable, compliant, and scalable processes. Your work will span day-to-day project-driven activities related to capacity expansion and process improvements.

Your role
As our new Senior Project Engineer, you will take an active role in both operations and development of our processes:

• Take full technical and execution ownership of the filling equipment scope from design through qualification, validation and handover
• Responsible as Work Package Owner of filling and mixing processes in the production expansion and ensure successful implementation
• Lead technical decision-making and risk management, including ownership of pFMEA and mitigation plans
• Execute qualification and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Collaborate closely with Production, QA, and Process Support to ensure compliant and efficient processes

Qualifications
We imagine that you have a solid technical background combined with experience in production or process development:

• BSc / MSc in Engineering, Process Engineering, or a similar technical field
• Solid experience in project- and stakeholder management
• Experience from medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Experience with manufacturing processes, preferably within filling, mixing, or similar production environments
• Solid understanding of validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and related documentation (e.g. URS, pFMEA)
• Structured and data-driven approach to problem solving and process improvement
• Familiarity with equipment and process development, upgrades, or scale-up is considered a plus
