As our new Senior AI Engineer you'll join the Voyager team based in Copenhagen , reporting to Simon, working to make AI a genuine partner for Lunar's customers — not just a chatbot, but something that actually solves problems.

What will you do?

• Build and ship customer-facing AI solutions that handle real financial tasks end-to-end — from understanding the problem to resolving it

• Design and improve the agentic workflows that let our AI act on behalf of customers: triggering actions, surfacing the right answers, and closing the loop

• Develop internal AI tooling that makes Lunar's customer excellence teams faster and more effective

• Experiment with and integrate LLM-based capabilities — working with models, prompts, retrieval systems, and evaluation frameworks to make things that actually work in production

• Collaborate closely with product and CX to translate real customer pain points into AI features that scale

What are we looking for in you?

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, including hands-on work building AI or LLM-powered products that reached real users — not just side projects or demos

• Comfortable working across distributed systems and learning new languages quickly;

• Practical experience with agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development (Cursor, Claude, Codex, Amp, or similar)

• A track record of shipping in ambiguous, fast-moving environments — ideally from a startup or scale-up where you had to own things end-to-end

• Sharp instincts for what makes AI actually useful vs. what looks good in a pitch
