Your role will focus on developing both existing and new roundtrips in Africa, so we can continue offering unique travel experiences to our guests.

Your profile
We are looking for a safari expert within product management who has a hands-on approach combined with a creative and strategic mindset, always seeing projects through to completion. You bring solid experience from the travel industry and experience in developing roundtrips, alongside a strong commercial understanding. You are confident in negotiating with potential suppliers and work proactively with a clear focus on achieving results and our customers’ satisfaction.

In addition, we expect that:

• You have a customer mindset, always
• You have detailed knowledge and work experience within the Southern and Eastern Africa tourism industry and developing roundtrips and safari products (minimum 5 years)
• You have great communication skills in one of the Nordic languages, and you easily create new relationships internally as well as externally
• You can distinguish the steps of the overall picture, but also pay analytical attention to the detail
• You enjoy both individual and team tasks
• You have an empathetic and service minded approach to all your surroundings

Your tasks

Develop and implement a product strategy for Africa, incl. safaris and roundtrips in close cooperation with Market Managers and MD for Africa.

• Ensure the correct product portfolio for safaris and roundtrips in Africa that meet guest demand and budgets.
• Manage, plan, price, and prepare our trips for sale
• Follow up on customer feedback after the trip
• Interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including agents, hotels, and other partners
