We are seeking a passionate Commercial Legal Counsel to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in the area of Commercial Legal in Group Legal. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

You will be joining the Group Legal team at our corporate headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark currently consisting of 12 colleagues, and report directly to Sune Reinholth Nyland, Head of Commercial Legal . You will be based in Hellerup, Denmark.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Review and draft various types of contracts.
• Support and advise on existing and future sales and distribution and logistics arrangements, including drafting, negotiation and ongoing management.
• Support and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Commercial, Product Supply, Finance, Tax, Compliance and Regulatory departments as well as external partners and advisors.

Qualifications and Skills:
You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a Master of Laws or Business Law – and at least 3 years of experience within commercial law and contract drafting within life sciences. Experience with distribution matters and competition law will be valuable but is not a requirement.

You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.

You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.

Travel: 0-15 days per year.
