Product Manager, Financial Services

Flatpay is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Financial Services team. In this role, you'll help develop our customer-facing banking product, including the app that supports small and medium-sized businesses in their day-to-day financial activities. Hands-on product management experience with customer-facing apps is essential for this role.

You will work closely with engineers, designers, operations, commercial teams, and external partners to turn customer needs, business priorities, and technical requirements into clear product improvements. The role suits someone with product experience from a banking environment who can combine customer understanding, app expertise, and technical fluency.

What you will work on

• Develop and continuously improve Flatpay’s banking product and customer-facing app for SMEs.

• Turn customer feedback, product and user data, and business needs into well-defined product improvements.

• Work closely with other product managers, designers, and engineers throughout product discovery, definition, delivery, launch, and iteration.

• Translate customer, business, operational, technical, and relevant regulatory requirements into clear product priorities.

• Coordinate with commercial teams, operations, legal, and external partners.

• Track product performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities and resolve pain points.

• Contribute to product planning, prioritization, and post-launch improvements.

• Travel occasionally across Flatpay’s markets to collaborate with local teams, partners, and other stakeholders.

You enjoy working closely with engineers, designers, and commercial teams, and you can turn complex requirements into practical product improvements. You combine customer focus with clear communication across different functions, and use evidence to make informed decisions.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or in a similar role.

• Demonstrated product management experience launching, improving, and scaling customer-facing apps.

• Strong technical fluency and the ability to work effectively with engineers on APIs, data flows, integrations, and technical trade-offs related to app development.

• Previous product experience from a banking environment.

• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ability to balance customer needs with technical, operational, commercial, and relevant regulatory considerations.

• A structured and analytical approach, with confidence using product data and customer insight to guide decisions.

• Practical experience applying AI tools to product discovery, analysis, or delivery is an advantage.

• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally across Flatpay’s markets.

• Professional-level English proficiency.
