The department
Due to continued business growth and increasing customer demand, we are looking to expand the WCS team. This additional role will strengthen regional account management support, enabling the team to continue building strong customer relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and support the successful delivery of innovative completion solutions. The role will help ensure the team is well positioned to maintain high service levels while supporting ongoing operational and commercial success across the region.

The position

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships built on trust and collaboration.
• Understand customer business objectives, operational challenges, and technical requirements.
• Conduct regular client meetings to review ongoing projects, gather feedback, and identify future opportunities.
• Function as the link between customers and internal technical teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

Development & Solution Support

• Analyse customer applications and identify opportunities for innovative completion solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Lead or support responses to RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
• Contribute to account growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Project Delivery & Account Oversight

• Maintain accountability for customer engagement throughout project execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery meets customer expectations and business objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving technical, operational, or commercial issues during project delivery.
• Ensure solutions support customers' long-term operational goals and business requirements.

Technical & Market Expertise

• Maintain a strong understanding of Welltec’s product portfolio and oil & gas industry developments.
• Translate technical solutions into clear business benefits for customers.
• Provide market insights and customer feedback to support product development and strategic planning.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

The candidate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Engineering or a related discipline required.
• Master's degree (MSc) preferred.
• Equivalent professional qualifications and industry experience will be considered.
• Oil & Gas or Engineering background essential.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of well completions design and operations, including various completion systems used
  globally.
• Knowledge of regional oil and gas markets and commercial business practices.
• Understanding of the wider completions market and competitive landscape.
• Proven experience in account management, business development, or commercial roles within the Oil & Gas
  sector.
• Track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments.
• Ability to engage effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders at all organisational levels

• Knowledge of upper completions systems.
• Knowledge of lower completions and open-hole completion technologies.
• Understanding of liner hanger systems and applications.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel across the UK and Europe
