Postdoc in Multi-Modal Behavioural Modelling - DTU Compute

If you are looking to establish yourself as a researcher in the cross-disciplinary fields of machine learning and mental health, this postdoc position is for you.

At DTU Compute you will focus is on building multi modal models for mental health applications in a Danish context. You will collaborate with a mental health department at the hospital (Region H), startup companies, as well as Denmark’s AI research and development house, Alexandra Instituttet. Our joint grand solution project is providing foundational models (wearables, speech, video) for behavioural modelling across several mental health applications.

Responsibilities and qualifications
As part of the position, you will be responsible for:

• Data collection activities
• Data annotation activities
• Developing novel models for multi modalities, herein wearables, speech, and/or video
• Pursuing the aims of making foundation models more representative.
• Modelling data from mental health applications in collaboration with mental health experts
• Conducting computational research experiments and disseminating these in research papers
• Good collaborations with project partners (incl. hospitals and companies)

We are looking for you with

• Outstanding interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Good organizational/project management skills
• Excellent research skills in machine learning and an
• Interest in mental health applications

As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. In addition, supplements can be negotiated in accordance with DTU’s salary structure for scientific staff: .

The period of employment is 22 months. Start date is according to mutual agreement. The position is a full-time position.
