VIKING Global Business Services (GBS) comprises 190+ dedicated colleagues, located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. GBS supports VIKING entities across the globe. Our GBS Finance team is responsible for VIKING's financial support and reporting, using SAP as our main ERP platform.

Due to significant growth in our department, we are looking for a dedicated Accounting Analyst to join our GBS Finance team.

In this role, you will report to the Finance Manager, Record to Report division, and will be involved in a variety of accounting and reporting activities, including month-end closing, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across VIKING entities.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work both independently and in cooperation with others. The following tasks can be expected:

Support month-end closing: intercompany and subsidiary accruals
Perform variance analysis on financial data to spot trends, outliers, and cost-optimization opportunities
Reports update and analyze of monthly variances
Handle asset creation and follow-up, liaising with Investments' owners
Contribute to financial models, reports, and dashboards
Take part in monthly closing (CM, fixed costs, P&L/BS checks) per VIKING Group policy
Assist with financial audits
Perform quarterly reconciliation to the general ledger
Ensure analysis meets regulatory requirements
Perform all tasks and responsibilities independently or with minimal supervision

Your profile
The successful candidate has 1 - 3 years of experience on the same or similar position; Furthermore:

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Excel advanced user
Power BI experience is an advantage
Experience with SAP is considered an advantage
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
