AI is changing how e-commerce brands grow across borders, and MakesYouLocal is at the front of that shift. We combine native market expertise with the best people, so our clients get a fully localised presence, professional customer support, and a partner who knows what it actually takes to win in a new market.

We run Succeed Abroad, one of the Nordic e-commerce industry's most respected events. We speak at conferences across Europe. We host roundtables, dinners, and industry sessions throughout the year. And we work with some of the most ambitious DTC brands in the market.

Now we need someone to help us keep those conversations going: nurturing the brands we are already in dialogue with, making sure warm relationships stay warm, and turning the right ones into a meeting with our team.

The role: the bridge between our world and theirs

This is not a traditional sales role. You are not cold calling. You are working with a warm network that already knows who MakesYouLocal is. Brands that have been to our events, downloaded our market guides, engaged with our content, or met us somewhere along the way.

Your job is to nurture that network. To stay in touch with the right people at the right time. To make sure that when a brand is ready to talk about international growth, we are the first call they make. You are the link between marketing and senior sales, and you will work closely with our CEO to make sure the pipeline stays warm and the right meetings happen.

The role rewards initiative over hours. If you love events, enjoy building relationships, and get energy from a full contact list, this is for you

Here's what you'll be doing

  • Work through curated lead lists from our events, content downloads, and LinkedIn: prioritise, reach out, and build the relationship. Phone first, always.

  • Be part of our event universe. Before every event, you help shape the invite list and arrange the event itself. After every event, you own the follow-up: the hot list is yours within five days. Events are a core part of how we generate pipeline, and you are a core part of how we convert it.

  • Qualify leads as they move from marketing-qualified to sales-qualified: clear criteria, no guesswork, before they're handed to senior sales.

  • Manage a structured conversion journey for every brand that engages with our entry-level products or content.

  • Stay in touch with the warm segment over time. A relevant event invite, a market update, a check-in at the right moment. You know the difference between staying on someone's radar and being annoying.

  • Support the partner side of the business: where can we support their clients, and where can our clients benefit from our partners' services.


What we're looking for

  • You have been close to sales, marketing, or business development, and you understand that the best deals start with a genuine relationship, not a pitch deck

  • You have a targeted sales profile: you know how to move potential clients forward in the process, and not just stay in touch

  • You're naturally social and curious: you ask good questions and genuinely want to know what's going on in someone's business

  • You love events and thrive in rooms full of people. You remember names, follow up naturally, and build trust without trying too hard

  • You are comfortable picking up the phone. That is your primary tool, not email

  • You understand e-commerce or are willing to learn fast. You need to speak credibly about international growth with decision-makers at e-commerce brands

  • You are organised enough to hold 100+ contacts without dropping anyone

  • You communicate clearly in English and Danish. Swedish or German is a plus
