Business Analyst for Cards

We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in agile development

Do you want to engage in an exciting project to implement a new payment card platform for Nykredit and the other BEC banks?

Do you have a bias towards action and thrive in a fast-paced environment?

We are setting out on an exciting journey to launch a new payment card platform in BEC, and we are looking for the right people to form a new team that will drive the project forward and ensure timely deliveries of the best quality. You will be one of the first members of the new team that will form the foundation for the project and will continue to run the platform afterwards, while continuing to develop new card-based solutions for our member banks. You will be working closely with developers in the team as well as with many external stakeholders integrating the new card platform with the other banking systems in BEC as well as with the mobile bank, advisor channels etc.

Payment cards is a critical area for the banks, where operational resilience and system reliability are key, while at the same time it is an area under constant development due to new requirements and expectations. You will have the opportunity to be part of a project, where we will implement a new modern card platform for Nykredit, Denmark’s third largest bank, and 15 other banks.

To begin with you will refer to Lars Warnich as your HR manager and to Morten Schwaner as your Product Owner/Project Lead. Before end of December 2026, you will transition to the new team that will be formed to drive the project activities forward.

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Define requirements and solution designs together with stakeholders from the banks, the Product Owner, architects and developers

• Translate business requirements into features and tasks in Jira for internal and external developers in an agile setup

• Coordinate and ensure collaboration among internal and external stakeholders

• Facilitate and participate in the team’s agile heartbeat

To succeed you will have:

• Experience with and be comfortable working as a business analyst in an agile setup (Scrum/SAFe)

• Experience with creating and managing features and tasks in Jira in a DevOps team

• Experience from previous work, where you have participated in large projects with many stakeholders, high complexity and a tight timeline

• Experience with domain driven design practices

• Good understanding of API development (Rest) in cloud, data-events (such as KAFKA) etc. from a business perspective

• Strong analytical skills

• A curious, analytical, and collaborative mindset, with a focus on delivering business value and solving problems

• Fluency in Danish and English, written and spoken

It is a bonus, if you have

• Experience working with AI to support you in your work, for instance to create tasks in Jira

• Knowledge of the payment card business and the processes involved
