This position is based in Middelfart, Denmark and reports to the Local Sales & Marketing Manager. Since this position requires frequent traveling to customers, a tool of the trade car is connected to this position as per company policy.

How you’ll make an impact

• Take full responsibility for a portfolio of customers, both new and existing, in Denmark, including marketing, budgeting and sales activities.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Lead account teams through clarification meetings, negotiations, and solution proposals.
• Align customer needs with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
• Promote and sell a broad portfolio of products, systems, software, and services from all five Hitachi Energy business units.
• Stay informed about the energy sector and contribute to the ongoing energy transformation.
• Demonstrate strong technical understanding and involve subject matter experts when needed.
• Represent the company with professionalism and a customer-first mindset.

Your background

• You need to have technical knowledge to be successful in this position. Experience with electrical engineering, high voltage is considered meriting.
• You are an experienced technical sales professional that are used to build trust with customers and understanding customer needs.
• Ability to balance and coordinate multiple tasks at the same time.
• Fluency in both speech and writing in English and Danish is required.
• You see yourself as a team player, with team management and leadership skills.
• You have experience of digital tools for reporting and documentation. Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, is an advantage
