Purpose of the Job
We are looking for a curious and analytical AML professional to join our dynamic KYC & AML Team B2B as a KYC Investigator. The role is based in Hyllie, Malmö. In this role, you will help safeguard Ikano Bank’s products and services against money laundering and terrorist financing and contribute to delivering our KYC and AML agenda.

As a KYC Investigator, you will work with KYC and EDD investigations for B2B customers across the Nordic markets. The primary responsibility is EDD for high-risk customers, supplemented by KYC tasks across all customer segments and risk categories.

You will collaborate closely with AML Investigators, MLROs, AML Tech, AML Specialists, Fraud teams and the commercial organization, where strong cooperation is essential.

Responsibilities of the Job
- Perform risk-based KYC and EDD investigations for high-risk customers, and support KYC activities across other segments and risk levels when needed during onboarding, ad-hoc and periodic reviews.
- Conduct customer screening against sanction lists, PEP lists and internal watchlists.
- Document all investigations clearly and traceably in relevant systems.
- Report deviations of beneficial owners to relevant authorities when required.
- Submit internal SAR reports to AML Investigators when suspicious activities or transactions are identified.
- Contribute to the bank’s AML/CFT Risk Assessments based on findings from EDD investigations.
- Support continuous improvement of routines and processes for AML/CFT work.
- Provide AML guidance to Sales, Customer Service and other business stakeholders.

Education Level
Bachelor's Degree

Experience/Demonstrated Competencies
-2 years experience working in the financial sector
-University degree in a Business, Legal, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
-Experience from AML, KYC or other compliance-related work
-Fluency in Swedish and English verbally and in writing
-AML certification (e.g. ACAMS, ICA or equivalent) is an advantage

Language Competencies
Fluency in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and/or Finish
Good knowledge in English

Knowledge required
- Solid understanding of a risk based approach
- Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations in the Nordic market
- Knowledge of B2B Leasing and factoring products and solutions
- Operational Knowledge of end-to end KYC/EDD procedures
- Knowledge of AML governance and regulatory expectations
