Software Test Engineer for the AOCS Team

About the job
As a Software Test Engineer in the AOCS team, you will work at the core of system integration testing. You will assemble test environments, design and execute test cases, and ensure thorough coverage across both hardware and software components.

Your work contributes directly to improving our overall test strategy, enhancing efficiency, identifying gaps, and strengthening documentation across test processes. Collaboration, analytical thinking, and curiosity will be essential as you help validate system performance and ensure test results are accurate, well-documented, and actionable.

Responsibilities include

• Contribute to define the overall test strategy, identifying areas for improvement in test coverage and efficiency
• Assemble and configure test systems for AOCS system integration testing
• Design, develop and execute hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests
• Record test results, track issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes
• Work closely with software and system engineers to validate performance and identify anomalies

• Take ownership in tasks regarding embedded software development and integration tests

Your profile
You are a team-oriented engineer who values collaboration, structure, and clear communication. You enjoy working hands-on with complex systems and thrive when taking ownership of tasks. With a positive, open mindset, you are driven by curiosity and motivated to continuously improve test quality and processes.

Qualifications

• PBA or bachelor’s degree in software engineering or electrical engineering
• 3+ years of experience in test design and test setup involving both hardware and software components.
• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
• Preferably knowledge of control systems.
• Proficiency in English is required.
