We are looking for a skilled Vessel IT & Vendor Manager to oversee our Vessel IT vendor landscape and help ensure reliable, secure, and business-aligned IT services across our fleet. In Technology, you will join a team of talented and welcoming colleagues.

Working collaboratively across functions, you will partner with Technical Management, external vendors, and colleagues across Technology to align Vessel IT solutions with operational needs and enterprise architecture. This is an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our Vessel IT landscape while building strong relationships across the organization.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage Vessel IT vendors and help ensure service delivery meets agreed service levels and business expectations
• Act as the primary point of contact between Vessel IT vendors, Technical Management, and the Technology organization
• Align Vessel IT solutions with business needs and drive continuous improvements
• Oversee delivery of IT security services from vendors, ensuring alignment with Maersk Tankers IT security strategy and requirements
• Support and coordinate smaller projects, system upgrades, and integrations
• Support integration of Vessel IT systems with enterprise platforms, incl. Azure architecture
• Contribute to architectural alignment of Vessel IT within the broader IT landscape
• Support vendor-related commercial activities, including input to contracts, performance reviews and relationship management

• A relevant background in IT, engineering, or a related field
• Experience in managing vendors, including commercial aspects, and overseeing service delivery
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and integrations (preferably Azure)
• Experience with project coordination or management
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and good understanding of vessel operations
