YOUR ROLE AS KITCHEN MANAGER
As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the kitchen operations at your restaurant. You will lead by example in the day-to-day operations, manage your team, and ensure that quality, procedures, and the working environment consistently meet our standards.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and motivate your kitchen team in the daily operations
Ensure high standards of quality and hygiene by following procedures, including eSmiley, audits, and more
Prepare staff schedules and arrange cover in case of illness
Ensure recipes are followed and ingredients are prepared for the day
Order supplies and ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained
Train and develop your team to help them perform at their best
Follow up on cleaning tasks and ensure efficient service during busy periods
Manage inventory and carry out monthly stock counts

You have experience working as part of a kitchen team in the restaurant industry
You have leadership experience – or naturally take responsibility and lead by example
You have a strong focus on quality and always strive for the highest standards
You are a team player with strong communication skills
