Junior Project Manager

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our Development team in Romania. Based at our Bucharest office, you will report to Raluca Rosca, Manager, Development, and work alongside a team of six colleagues developing wind, solar and BESS projects across the country.

Your role
You will support our project managers across the development lifecycle, from early site assessment through permitting to ready-to-build. Your work will cover:

• Preparing and tracking project documentation, permit applications and authority submissions
• Assisting with land scouting and landowner contact, with senior colleagues leading the negotiations
• Collecting and analysing project data, including spatial data, to support decisions
• Helping prepare grid connection applications and following up with authorities and consultants
• Keeping project plans, timelines and reporting up to date
• Coordinating with external consultants and technical advisors on day-to-day tasks

As you build experience, you will take on smaller projects of your own and grow towards full project ownership.

Required competencies and skills
We do not expect you to have several years of experience behind you. We are more interested in how you think, how you organise your work, and whether you want to learn this field properly.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, geography, environmental science, urban planning, business or a related field
• 0–3 years' experience; internships, student jobs or relevant project work all count
• An interest in renewable energy and in how projects get permitted and built
• Fluent Romanian and professional English
• A structured, detail-oriented approach and the ability to keep track of several tasks at once
• Confident with MS Office; experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS is an advantage
• Willingness to travel within Romania for site visits
