Your Role at Aeven
In this role, you’ll lead the implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise Azure environments - bringing together Agile and DevOps practices in both a technical and business context. Our clients count on us not just to deliver what they ask for, but to understand what they need, and help them get there safely and smartly.
You will:
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure architectures using proven models such as hub-and-spoke, security zones, and policy-based controls
- Take ownership of Azure environments from build through operations, including governance, subscription management, and automation
- Drive automation using Bicep, Terraform, Azure CLI, Bash, and PowerShell
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and customers to ensure alignment between technology and business needs
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Apply deep knowledge of security and compliance requirements, especially within financial services
- Contribute to large-scale modernization and transformation projects in cross-functional teams (20+ colleagues)
What You Bring
- Deep Azure Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS services, including certification (AZ-104 or higher)
- Enterprise Architecture Experience: Familiarity with designing secure, multi-subscription Azure environments using industry patterns
- Automation Focus: Strong scripting and automation skills using Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps)
- Security Mindset: Practical knowledge of Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and compliance implementation within regulated sectors (e.g. banking)
- Hybrid Infrastructure Knowledge: Confident working across both Windows and Linux environments, including deployment and operations
- Optional Plus: Exposure to AWS/GCP/OCI, or container platforms like Kubernetes in cloud
- Strong Collaboration Skills: Open-minded, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- On-call Flexibility: Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations when needed
