GAME Tunisia is looking for a Junior Communications Intern

Then you might be our new Junior Communications Intern at GAME Tunisia.

GAME uses street sports and street culture to create lasting social change for children and young people. We work across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, supporting young people to become active participants and positive changemakers in their communities.

We are looking for a creative, organised and proactive student who can support communication, outreach and visibility across GAME Tunisia’s projects and activities. The intern will contribute to content creation, social media management, events communication and outreach activities, while also supporting communication efforts connected to GAME's programmes and initiatives.

THE POSITION
As Junior Communications Intern, you will support communication and outreach across GAME Tunisia’s projects and activities.

This is a dynamic student role combining project communication, outreach and digital content. You may help promote activities, create content from events and workshops, support GAME Tunisia’s social media and collect stories about the young people and communities involved in our work.

You will work closely with the GAME Tunisia team, Communications services providers and, when relevant, colleagues working with GAME’s regional programmes. The role will vary depending on current projects and activities, and there will be room to bring your own ideas and gradually take on more responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the management of GAME Tunisia's social media channels, particularly Facebook and Instagram.
• Writing engaging content for social media, website updates, campaigns and outreach activities.
• Creating simple visual content using Canva or similar tools.
• Capturing photos, videos and stories during activities, events and workshops.
• Supporting event communication before, during and after project activities.
• Coordinating with graphic designers,, photographers, videographers and other communication service providers.
• Tracking communication deliverables, milestones and deadlines.
• Supporting quality assurance of communication products and materials.
• Collecting participant stories, testimonials and impact stories.
• Contributing to outreach and visibility efforts targeting young people, communities and partners.
• Supporting communication activities related to GAME's regional programmes when relevant.

WE EXPECT THAT YOU

• Are currently studying communication, marketing, media, journalism, design or another relevant field.
• Have an interest in communication, social media and digital storytelling.
• Have some experience creating content for social media or other digital platforms, whether through work, studies, volunteering or your own projects.
• Can communicate clearly and creatively with different audiences.
• Can write confidently in Tunisian Arabic and English.
• Have an eye for visual communication and are comfortable creating simple photo, video and graphic content.
• Have experience with, or are interested in learning, tools such as Canva, CapCut or similar platforms.
• Are organised, reliable and can work independently on agreed tasks.
• Enjoy meeting people and are comfortable participating in activities and events to collect stories and content.
• Are curious about youth engagement, civil society and social change.
• Enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Experience with digital advertising, analytics or more advanced design and editing tools is an advantage, but not a requirement.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
The position is approximately 15 hours per week and is designed to be combined with your studies.

Your primary workplace will be GAME Tunisia in Tunis, with flexibility in how the hours are organised around your studies and exams.

As some communication activities are connected to events and project activities, occasional evening or weekend work may occur.

Expected start date is the 15 th of October 2026, and the role is for 8 months (ending 15 th June 2027).
