This position is based in our Izmir site, located in the Aegean Free Zone, Gaziemir.
About the Role
We are looking for a full-time “ Fixed Term Electrical Design Engineer (Hardware Engineer)” for our Izmir office in Gram Equipment Turkey as part of our Automation team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels in accordance with DS / EN 60204-1 standards.
- Select appropriate electrical components in close collaboration with the mechanical engineering team.
- Manage the procurement of electrical control panels and coordinate with subcontractors/suppliers.
- Create and maintain Electrical and Automation Bills of Materials (BOM) within the ERP system.
- Collaborate continuously with the Automation Hardware team to resolve technical issues and clarify design requirements.
- Prepare and maintain complete electrical documentation, including schematics and related technical documents.
- Provide technical support to the electrical assembly team during machine production and assist site supervisors during installation and commissioning.
- Support software engineers during software loading, testing, and machine commissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
- Good knowledge of electrical panel design principles and electrical schematics,
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical components,
- Good knowledge of frequency converters and servo systems,
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems is an asset,
- Knowledge of process automation and field devices is an asset,
- Good command of English, both spoken and written,
- Eagerness to learn and develop in machine automation,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Good communication and teamwork skills,
- Living in Izmir,
- No restriction on domestic and international travel,
