Are you a graduate in a relevant field or experienced Maritime Sales professional in Electrical Services and motivated to pursue a career within a renowned company in Service Sales to Maritime and Ports Customers? If so, this job is tailored to you. You will contribute by supporting the Maritime and Ports industry with innovative service solutions supporting our customers to achieve the most from their assets. Our solutions help customers secure their vessel and port infrastructure are safe, reliable and efficient during entire life cycle Yor key accountability is general Service Sales to our vast portfolio of electrical equipment to Ship Owners, Ship Management companies and Ports. Additionally, you will explore opportunities to support our customers with electrification and decarbonization of their operation. Your focus will to secure a close and proactive collaboration with our customers and identify opportunities. You understand how our services contribute to the business of our customers and have good balance of technical and commercial understanding to manage the sales process adding the most value to our customers. You are motivated to build productive customer relationships and develop your skills in sales and customer engagement. The position oversee the market of Denmark, Iceland, Faroe Island and Greenland. You know the competitive landscape and are capable of positioning ABB as the preferred technology provider of advanced and integrated services. Safety, Reliability and Decarbonization is a high priority for our customers as a mean of complying with increasing external regulations. Backed by ABB as an established company and our extensive portfolio, you will have a very solid foundation to work from. You will be part of our local service team and collaborate with international colleagues, receiving technical and sales support as well as proper training. - Engage in customer meetings and capture opportunities within Service Sale.
- Plan, book and execute customer visits while developing productive collaboration with customers.
- Lead the general service sale and develop business and best practice.
- Managing the bid process and preparation of quotations in collaboration with team.
- Promote ABB solutions in customer meetings to retain and build customer commitment.
- Provide input to Product Management and manage consistent costing and pricing of service offerings.
- Build product and market knowledge, networks with key decision makers, and support sales across the general product portfolio, with a key focus on general service sales.
- Support meetings for solution sales and consulting and gradually take on responsibilities in negotiations and market analysis.
- Experience with service sales to maritime and ports industry.
- Electrical technical background such as Electrical Engineer, Marine engineer, or equivalent.
- General understanding of the maritime industry, decarbonization and regulations and good technical understanding of electrical systems.
- Ability to collaborate within a matrix organization. Demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships.
- Commercial and customer focused mindset. Skilled in building customer satisfaction.
- Experiences in managing sales processes and engage with stakeholders.
- Systematic and structured work approach. Fluent in Danish and English.
