Your new role

As a Regulatory Affairs Professional in RA Obesity & Cardiometabolic Health, you will contribute regulatory expertise to one or more clinical development projects — with a particular focus on clinical trial applications and global regulatory submissions. You will navigate a highly complex stakeholder landscape, standing up for the regulatory strategy while collaborating across functional areas. Over time, you will develop greater independence and grow into an increasingly strategic role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contributing regulatory expertise to global strategies and tactics, ensuring alignment with the broader development programme
• Developing regulatory documentation for submission to Health Authorities globally, including clinical trial applications, briefing packages, paediatric plans, and responses to health authority questions
• Representing Regulatory Affairs in global clinical trial teams and other cross-functional teams
• Collaborating with primary stakeholders across project teams, commercial, safety, non-clinical, project management, medical writers, and statisticians
• Driving regulatory tasks with challenging and often overlapping timelines, adapting swiftly to evolving health authority requirements
• Taking active part in department improvement projects across Regulatory Affairs

In Research & Development, you'll be part of a unit that explores bold scientific ideas and advances them into clinical testing. Through collaboration and operational excellence, we shape and deliver an innovative pipeline to meet future patient needs.

Within Research & Development, the Obesity & Cardiometabolic Health Therapy Area is responsible for developing and executing the global regulatory strategy for our development programmes — spanning from early research projects through clinical development up to post-marketing regulatory activities. We work as an integrated part of global R&D projects and play a key role in cross-functional teams, owning the regulatory strategy and providing expertise and tactics to the product development plan. You will report to the head of the department.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for someone with a strategic mindset who can thrive in complexity and adapt with resilience when priorities shift.

You'll bring with you:

• A Master's degree or PhD within Life Science, Health Science, or a related field
• Solid, hands-on regulatory and/or drug development experience — knowledge of drug development as a whole is essential, as this role differs significantly from life cycle management
• Experience working on clinical development programmes is an advantage
• Advanced communication skills in both written and spoken English, with the confidence to advocate for regulatory strategy across senior stakeholders
• Strong IT/digital skills and the organisational ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure

On a personal level, you are well-organised with robust problem-solving capabilities and a strategic focus. You maintain a positive, can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour — even when things move fast and the unexpected arrives from health authorities.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200 to 838,100 DKK corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
