Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will drive market, business and profitability analyses to support the Global Secondary Switchgear Product Marketing team in identifying opportunities and making informed strategic decisions – both for Gas- and Air-Insulated products in the Secondary product line of business line Switchgear, in the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division. In this role you will report to Product Marketing Lead Secondary Switchgear.

Each day, you will follow up with Factories and Sales and Solutions units the strategic marketing initiatives rolled out for Secondary Switchgear Business and contribute to creation of marketing plans to grow the business in specific Regions/Countries. You will support the Global Product Marketing Team by spreading and fostering Secondary Switchgear products’ value propositions and unique selling points – with a focus of driving customer centricity initiatives within the factories.

This is a global role operating in a hybrid work model. While we welcome applications from different locations, Europe is the preferred work location due to business needs and close collaboration with key stakeholders.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Evaluating potential growth opportunities via assessing and preparing market analysis. Contribute to creation of business plans for new products developments or new homologations to pursue.
• Execute the global demand monitoring and allocation process by maintaining Power BI dashboards and master data, and coordinating data collection across factories to ensure timely, complete, and consistent information across business units; introducing innovative solutions to streamline processes.
• Maintain and consolidate the global pipeline, coordinating periodic updates and ensuring alignment among stakeholders in key countries. Contribute to creation of business and product portfolio strategies for selected channel partners (OEMs, Panel Builders and Distributors)
• Contribute to the development of Global Product Marketing contents for internal and external presentations, ensuring clear and consistent, and impactful communication of strategic messages and value propositions.

Qualifications for the role
Strong track record in fostering a culture of innovation and marketing, encouraging experimentation, learning from failures, and staying ahead of industry trends

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or management engineering combined with business experience in switchgear or electrical components’ areas
• Customer focus – across several countries, markets or products
• Collaborative with „one level up“ thinking – teams-up across the entire organization where needed, with peers, partners, customers, suppliers, or other divisions
• Independent, mature, self-motivated, fast learnable and adaptable approach, team-mindset & good listening skills
• Empathic and good communication skills to cooperate and make people drive the topics together
• Perfect English communication skills
