Our client is a technology-driven company delivering innovative digital products and enabling large-scale transformation across complex industries. The organization builds modern, cloud-based solutions and works with Agile teams to drive innovation in the insurance sector.
We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead the expansion of our presence in the Danish financial services market. This is a senior commercial role focused on building strong client relationships and driving new business opportunities in a highly dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a well-connected professional who thrives in relationship-driven sales and is motivated by ownership, autonomy, and impact.
Main responsibilities:
- Drive new business development across the Danish financial services sector (banking, insurance, pensions, asset management, fintech)
- Leverage your network to secure meetings with senior decision-makers and build a strong sales pipeline
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms, and close framework agreements and project deals
- Act as a trusted advisor for key accounts and provide market insights to support growth in the Danish market

Requirements:
- Established network within Danish financial services, with direct access to senior decision-makers (CTO/CIO/VP level) key requirement
- Proven experience selling IT services, software, consulting, or staff augmentation into financial institutions
- Native or fluent Danish, plus strong professional English
- Strong commercial mindset with full ownership of the sales cycle and revenue responsibility
- Entrepreneurial and self-driven profile comfortable working independently and engaging with senior technical stakeholders
