SoloBand Games is an independent mobile game studio based in Cyprus. Our flagship project is World Tour Merge, a merge-2 casual puzzle game with IAP-driven monetization (~95% of revenue). Our core audience is primarily women aged 30+ in Tier-1 countries.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

We are looking for a Marketing Analyst who will work side by side with the CMO and own the bridge between data infrastructure → business model → UA decisions. This isn't a role about ad-hoc requests, it's about turning our data into an actionable business system and keeping it evolving. Your domain is marketing analytics: turning BigQuery data marts into UA budget and payback decisions. You'll collaborate closely with the product analyst and finance manager, but marketing is where you lead.

What is already in place

• BigQuery: main DWH

• Airflow on Cloud Composer: DAGs for API ingestion and dbt runners (schedules, retries, alerts)

• Tableau: primary BI platform (Predict, Funnel, Progress Dashboard, Marketing Dashboard)

• Git (GitHub) + GitHub Actions for deploying DAGs to Composer

• 2 versions of predictive LTV models in prod

What you’ll be doing:

• Running cohort research

• Building payer segmentation - revenue tiering, payer retention, repeat-purchase patterns etc.

• Analyzing the level funnel across marketing cuts

• Maintaining and evolving our predictive LTV model

• Building and updating ROAS curves and payback windows

• Co-owning the business plan with the CMO: revenue, budget, and payback forecasts that drive UA spend decisions

• Building and maintaining Tableau dashboards

• Automating optimization documents for ad channels

• Working directly with the CMO on prioritization and hypotheses, presenting models to the Leadership Team, and supporting the UA team on budget and growth decisions

• Analyzing channel cannibalization attribution-chain contribution matrix, impact of paid networks on organic

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 3+ years in marketing/product analytics, ideally in gamedev or mobile-tech

• Strong SQL window functions, CTEs, query optimization on large tables (BigQuery a plus)

• Hands-on dbt experience (models, tests, snapshots, macros), or strong SQL and an Analytics Engineering mindset, open to discussion

• Experience with Airflow or another orchestrator (Dagster, Prefect), you understand DAGs, schedules, retries

• Tableau or another BI tool (Looker, Power BI, Metabase), building dashboards end-to-end

• Git and a basic understanding of CI/CD

• Mobile attribution fundamentals - Adjust/AppsFlyer, last-touch vs probabilistic, reattribution

• Cohort analysis - cohort formation, retention and revenue curves

• IAP monetization - revenue structure, store fees, VAT, gross vs net, refunds

• Financial modeling - building revenue and payback forecasts, working with scenarios

  Nice to have:

• Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) for predictive models;

• Experience with predictive LTV models (cohort-based, ML-based);

• Understanding of IAA monetization and hybrid models;

• Experience with casual / puzzle / merge games
