As we continue to grow internationally, exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events play an important role in how we connect with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders around the world.

We are now looking for a structured and hands-on Marketing Specialist, Expo & Events to join our Marketing team in a maternity cover position based at our HQ in Nørresundby, Denmark. In this role, you will take the lead on planning and coordinating our participation in international expos, conferences, customer events, and partner activities, ensuring professional execution and a strong brand presence across markets.

What you will do
As our Marketing Specialist, Expo & Events, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of event and expo activities around the world from planning to follow-up.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and coordinating participation in trade shows, expos, conferences, customer events, and partner events
• Managing event timelines, logistics, travel coordination, registrations, suppliers, and on-site preparations
• Coordinating booth setup, branding, promotional materials, meeting schedules, and customer-facing activities
• Supporting sales and business development teams with event planning and customer engagement activities
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure high-quality and consistent event execution
• Ensuring event materials and visual assets align with MyDefence’s brand identity and messaging
• Supporting lead collection and post-event follow-up activities together with commercial teams
• Tracking event budgets, timelines, and key learnings from completed activities
• Researching relevant industry expos and conferences to support visibility and business opportunities

You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and external partners to ensure our events create value both commercially and from a brand perspective.

Who we are looking for

We imagine that you:

• Have minimum 3 years of experience in event coordination, expo management, or similar, including planning and executing B2B events, trade shows, conferences, or customer-facing activities.
• Are comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders, suppliers, and deadlines simultaneously
• Have strong project management and organizational skills
• Communicate professionally in English, both written and verbally
• Are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
• Have an eye for detail while still maintaining a strong overview
• Enjoy working collaboratively across teams and functions

Experience from an international B2B, tech, industrial, or defence-related environment is an advantage, but not a requirement.
