About the Role & Team
We are looking for a Head of Legal to join our Finance & Operations department in Copenhagen. In this new role, you’ll lead our overall legal strategy and execution, helping us build a scalable legal framework that supports our rapid growth across European markets. You’ll be the primary legal partner to our Sales, Finance, and Security teams, balancing fast risk-reward decisions with robust corporate governance.

Your core focus will be driving commercial SaaS contracting, corporate law, and vendor management, while eventually taking over ownership of our internal compliance function as the role evolves. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to safeguard the company while enabling business velocity. The team values extreme ownership, pragmatic decision-making, and strong cross-functional collaboration, and you’ll report directly to our Chief Financial Officer.

What you will do

• Be the legal partner to Sales by driving commercial SaaS contracting, handling T&Cs, MSAs, DPAs, negotiating small deviations, and maintaining fallback negotiation playbooks.
• Support the company's compliance framework in close partnership with our existing Compliance function and eventually taking over the internal compliance ownership.
• Manage corporate legal matters, including entity management, governance, board support, and selective coordination with external counsel.
• Own vendor and supplier contracting, reviewing and negotiating key terms on liability, security, privacy, and SLAs alongside Finance and Ops.
• Build a scalable legal operating model by creating clear templates, internal guidance, and review triggers to keep legal operations lean and efficient.

What you bring

• Ideally 4–8 years of relevant legal experience within a fast-growing SaaS environment.
• Strong expertise in commercial SaaS contracting, including DPAs, security addendums, and negotiating client-facing deviations.
• Solid understanding of data privacy and corporate law, with experience managing corporate governance and internal compliance baselines.
• A pragmatic, business-oriented mindset that balances risk and reward to keep sales velocity high while protecting the business.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (Danish is not a requirement)
