Business analyst (senior) - Post-Trade Delivery

You will join our Post Trade Program and work with the newly established Post Trade Harmonization Initiative. The program addresses post-trade harmonization requirements and develops future solutions for our member banks, enabling them to make well-informed decisions and remain compliant.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with customers to define their needs. You will also collaborate with teams across BEC and engage with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating professional and constructive dialogue.

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Engage with the product owner and customers to understand their needs and deliver service-minded solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Analyse business challenges, define actionable solutions, and translate regulations into development tasks and user stories.
• Document procedures and decisions, prepare requirement specifications, and create user guides for banks and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA specialists to clarify requirements, align priorities, and ensure solutions are thoroughly tested.
• Lead and participate in meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Facilitate professional communication and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed you will have:

• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to break down complex problems and identify actionable solutions.
• Business acumen and an understanding of customer needs, banking operations, and regulatory requirements.
• An understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and how they translate into system behaviour.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong coordination skills, including following up on planned activities and ensuring the right stakeholders have the right information at the right time.
• Experience writing business procedures, user guides, requirement specifications, and decision documentation.
• A curious, proactive, customer-oriented, and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and navigate change and ambiguity.
• Familiarity with agile methods and the ability to break down features into actionable user stories.

It's nice-to-have:

• Experience in the financial sector, knowledge of trading solutions, or expertise in post-trade and settlement.
