Hørup Maskiner A/S is Denmark's exclusive dealer of CESAB forklifts and warehouse trucks and provide fast and reliable maintenance, repairs, inspections, and emergency service for a wide range of material handling and industrial equipment to customers across Denmark.
We are looking for a skilled truck mechanic to join our service team. The primary focus is maintenance and repair of warehouse trucks. Depending on your qualifications, the role may also include work on elevators, cranes, pallet inverters, ramps, and gates.
You may also be assigned installation and repair tasks on shelving systems and other service work in freezer facilities during weekend or evening shifts for our sister company Hørup Montage Aps. Basic English communication skills are required.
Main tasks:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on warehouse trucks
- Primary brands serviced: Linde, Toyota and CESAB.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out corrective work
- Service and repair elevators, cranes, pallet inverters, ramps and gates when qualified
- Complete service reports and parts orders
- Assist with shelving system installation and freezerfacility service tasks when needed
Requirements:
- Vocational training or equivalent experience as a mechanic or service technician
- Experience with warehouse trucks preferred
- Can manage basic communication in English
- EU driving license B; BE (trailer license) is an advantage
- Comfortable with physical labor
Work conditions:
- Fully equipped service van with professional tools, diagnostical test equipment and commonly used spare parts are provided for by the company
- Safety equipment/PPE are provided for by the company
- Weekend and evening work may occur as needed.
- On-call duty 24/7 as part of a rotation
- Always one guaranteed day off per week
- Travel to customer sites is required
Salary & benefits
- A fair salary set after qualifications/according to the company scale
- Room available: 1.000,00 DKK/month incl. utilities & internet
