About the position

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in Sunrise’s Insights & Strategy team, you’ll work with ambitious Danish and international companies to turn customer, market, and business insights into strategic direction and creative solutions with commercial impact.

Your main objective will be to create strong market positions for our clients and accelerate their business growth by helping them navigate transitions across three critical domains: Brand Transition, Marketing Transition, and Sales Transition. Especially within complex business-to-business (B2B) environments. This requires a combination of thorough analysis, insight-driven strategy, commercial thinking, and an understanding of how strategy translates into creative execution or actionable initiatives.

You will take an active role throughout our projects – from research and analysis to developing strategic recommendations, preparing and participating in client workshops, and translating strategy into clear briefs and direction for our creative and activation specialists.

We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of relevant experience from a consultancy, agency, or an in-house strategy, marketing, insights, or commercial function. You know how to structure a problem, work independently with analysis and strategic deliverables, and communicate your thinking clearly – while still being eager to learn from experienced colleagues and take on increasing responsibility.

Depending on your experience, you’ll either own key parts of our projects or take the lead on workstreams and day-to-day client contact.

Your tasks will include

• Conducting and driving desk research, market analysis, competitor analysis, and qualitative and quantitative insights gathering
• Turning complex data, research, and customer insights into clear conclusions and strategic recommendations
• Challenging our clients’ business issues and identifying untapped potential across their commercial activities
• Developing strategies within areas such as positioning, commercial, branding, customer insights, communication, and marketing
• Contributing to and independently owning parts of client projects and strategic deliverables, and driving client engagements and workstreams independently (or with the ambition to gradually take on this responsibility)
• Preparing, facilitating and presenting at client meetings and workshops
• Translating strategic recommendations into clear input and briefs for our creative teams and Activation specialists across areas such as content, SoMe, Web, CRM, and campaigns
• Developing compelling presentations in Keynote/PowerPoint for existing and potential clients
• Contributing to and co-owning new business development through research, identification of opportunities, development of proposals, and pitches
• Planning and managing research projects with external partners (qual/quant)

Your profile

• You have 2-4 years of relevant professional experience from a consultancy, agency, or an in-house strategy, marketing, insights, branding, or commercial function
• You hold a relevant master’s degree within business administration, marketing, management, communication, or a related field
• You have a strong interest in marketing, branding, commercial strategy, customer insights, and communication
• You are analytically strong and comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative insights – but equally importantly
• You have solid business acumen and are curious about how companies, customers, markets, and brands work – B2B experience is a benefit but not a requirement
• You are a structured problem solver who can take ownership of your own workstreams and deliverables
• You are a strategic thinker with a creative flair and enjoy moving from analysis to ideas and solutions
• You are a strong team player who enjoys collaborating across different disciplines and personalities
• You are eager to take responsibility, learn quickly, and continuously develop your consulting toolbox
• You are fluent in Danish and highly proficient in English
• It is a plus if you have experience in facilitating workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders
• It is a plus if you are interested in and have strong skillset within various AI tools and want to take a leading role in challenging existing processes from this point of view
