The role and Autorola

Autorola Finland is looking for a Marketplace Specialist to join our growing team in Espoo and take a key role in developing Autorola Marketplace Finland.
Autorola Group is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing and automotive IT solutions for professional used car and fleet management. Headquartered in Odense, Denmark, Autorola employs more than 900 professionals across 24 markets in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

The Group operates through three closely connected business units:

• Autorola Marketplace – online vehicle auctions connecting professional sellers with more than 70,000 active buyers across 40+ markets.
• Autorola Solutions – customised solutions for OEMs, banks, finance and leasing companies and other fleet owners.
• Indicata – business intelligence and market insight solutions for professional used vehicle inventory management.

Autorola is currently building its presence and business in Finland. In this role, you will work closely with the Country Manager Finland and play an important part in taking Marketplace Finland from its launch phase towards a scalable, data-driven and commercially successful operation.

Your responsibility will cover both the commercial and operational development of the marketplace . You will build and strengthen an active network of buyers and sellers, develop customer and partner relationships and help customers optimise their used vehicle sales and purchasing channels.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include new customer acquisition and Key Account Management, buyer and seller onboarding, pipeline and portfolio management, auction operations and quality, customer success, reporting and continuous improvement.

You will work with a broad range of automotive customers and stakeholders, including dealerships, leasing and finance companies, rental companies, fleet owners and OEMs. You will also identify opportunities for cross-border vehicle trade and work together with Autorola Marketplace, Solutions and Indicata to create relevant solutions for customers.

Data will be an important part of your work. You will follow marketplace performance, conversion, volumes, margins and other KPIs, manage the commercial pipeline and use CRM and reporting tools to turn market and customer insights into concrete actions.

At the same time, this is a very practical role. You will help ensure that customers are onboarded effectively, auctions run professionally, partners are coordinated and issues are resolved quickly and commercially.

You will collaborate closely with Autorola's Product, IT, Operations/Support, Marketing, Finance and Legal teams in Denmark as well as relevant Finnish and Group stakeholders.

The position reports to Country Manager, Autorola Group Finland , and is based at Autorola Finland's office in Espoo. Occasional travel to customers, dealers and partners is part of the role.

The salary range for the position is approximately €3,500–€5,000 per month , depending on experience and competence.

What we expect from you
You have several years of relevant experience from the automotive industry, automotive retail, used vehicle business, leasing, rental, fleet management, automotive finance or another relevant B2B environment .

To succeed in the role, you should have a good understanding of the commercial dynamics of the used vehicle market and be comfortable working with professional automotive customers. Experience specifically from online vehicle auctions or automotive marketplaces is valuable, but it is not the only route into the position.

We are looking for someone who combines commercial drive with a hands-on way of working . You know how to build relationships, open doors, negotiate and develop customers over time. You can identify business opportunities and are motivated by turning them into profitable growth.

You also bring an analytical mindset. You are comfortable working with performance data, KPIs, CRM systems and reporting tools and can move beyond reporting numbers to asking: What does this tell us, and what should we do next?

Strong organisational skills will help you succeed in an environment where customer development, auction operations, reporting, partner coordination and internal collaboration often happen in parallel.

You are fluent in Finnish and English , both written and spoken, and comfortable using digital business tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, CRM platforms and reporting solutions. Experience with Salesforce, Power BI or similar tools is beneficial.

Previous experience in online vehicle auctions, used car remarketing, dealer networks, fleet remarketing, leasing, rental or automotive finance will be considered an advantage. Swedish and/or German language skills are also beneficial.
