Product Sales Manager APAC

The position

Job overall purpose

• You will be responsible for supporting and driving commercial growth across the Asia-Pacific region. The role combines account management, business development, market analysis, and sales execution activities to expand GomSpace's presence within the satellite and space industry
• You will be ready to travel frequently within the region and internationally (up to 50%).

Key areas of responsibility & tasks
Business Development & Sales Growth

• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across assigned APAC territories
• Support the execution of regional go-to-market strategies and business development plans
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with regional growth objectives
• Drive lead generation activities through market engagement, industry events, and customer outreach
• Research and monitor national space programs, government initiatives, and commercial market opportunities

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key industry stakeholders
• Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for selected customer accounts
• Understand customer requirements and align GomSpace products and solutions to their needs
• Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, requests, and commercial discussions
• Support customer visits, product presentations, and executive briefings

Opportunity & Account Management

• Manage assigned sales opportunities through the complete sales lifecycle
• Develop account plans for strategic and growth accounts
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and customer information within CRM systems
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful opportunity advancement.
• Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions

Proposal & Bid Management

• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and tender submissions
• Coordinate bid responses with engineering, program management, finance, legal, and operations teams
• Ensure customer requirements and commercial terms are properly addressed.
• Support proposal reviews and approval processes

Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitors, industry trends, market developments, and customer activities
• Provide regular market intelligence reports and strategic recommendations
• Identify emerging market segments and applications for GomSpace solutions
• Support regional growth planning and market prioritization activities

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales Support teams
• Ensure smooth handover of won opportunities to project execution teams
• Support continuous improvement of commercial processes, tools, and reporting

• Succesfull participation in execution of the ambitious growth strategy in APAC

Qualifications

Critical experience

• Some experience in international sales, business development and account management

Education

• Degree in Business, International Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field
