Process Manager

We are looking for an R&D Process Manager to help shape how hardware development works across a global R&D organisation. You will own and improve the processes that support Hardware Solutions, making sure they are both efficient and aligned with the requirements of a regulated medical device environment.

You will work closely with R&D Project and Program Managers, Process Owners, Quality and Regulatory stakeholders across sites in Lynge, Erlangen and Singapore . Your role will be a mix of process ownership, continuous improvement and hands-on problem solving: understanding where teams lose time or encounter friction, turning those insights into better ways of working, and making sure improvements are implemented consistently across locations.

You will report directly to Head of HW Portfolio & Project Management . A key part of the role will be looking at how AI tools and Lean methods can be used to make processes more efficient , rather than simply maintaining processes as they are today.

What you will do

• Own the overall HW development process, including relevant sub-processes, work instructions and forms.

• Ensure processes remain aligned with regulatory and quality requirements and support updates to relevant QMS documentation.

• Identify inefficiencies through project feedback, lessons learned and stakeholder input, and turn them into practical improvements.

• Explore and apply AI, digital tools, and Lean methods that can simplify, automate or improve the way processes are managed.

• Drive harmonisation of hardware development processes across Lynge, Erlangen and Singapore.

• Manage the process improvement backlog, prioritising opportunities and following improvements through to implementation.

• Support R&D Project and Program Managers as a subject matter expert on hardware development processes.

What you bring

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working with process development, process management or continuous improvement.

• Experience working in a regulated environment , ideally medical devices or another highly controlled product-development environment.

• Practical understanding of Quality Management Systems and process compliance .

• Experience working with R&D, engineering, product development or project management processes .

• Experience collaborating with Quality/Regulatory stakeholders and translating requirements into practical processes.

• Experience leading or coordinating process improvement initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

• University degree; Engineering, Business/Commerce or a related discipline is relevant to the role.
