In the Netherlands, CERTIFER operates from Noord-Scharwoude and Utrecht, employing nearly 100 professionals. For our office in Utrecht, we are looking for a: Lead Assessor Certification What will you do? As Lead Assessor Certification, you are responsible for the certification process from start to finish: from preparing proposals to delivering certificates and compliance statements. Together with your team, you ensure thorough preparation and conduct technical assessments to determine whether products comply with applicable laws and regulations and are eligible for certification. You manage assessors and auditors and are also actively involved in the technical evaluations yourself. You will work on a variety of challenging projects, such as ERTMS system assessments in Sweden, safety assessments of trams, freight wagons, and the HSL-Zuid, as well as modifications to train control systems and infrastructure. In addition, you will assess a wide range of railway systems, from overhead lines to wheelchair lifts. You will be part of the Certification department consisting of six colleagues and work closely with internal specialists, external experts, and partner organizations to successfully deliver client projects. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level (HBO/WO) Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken Experience with train control systems, railway infrastructure, and/or rolling stock Familiarity with European and national regulations and the ability to assess systems against them Experience working under accreditation and with relevant standards such as Interoperability Directive / TSIs, CSM-REA, national regulations (e.g. RIS), EN 50126/50128/50129, and ISO/IEC 1 7020/17021/17065 ? Als lead-assessor certificering ben je van begin tot eind verantwoordelijk voor het certificeringsproces: van het opstellen van offertes tot en met de oplevering van certificaten en verklaringen. Samen met je team zorg je voor een gedegen voorbereiding en voer je technische beoordelingen uit om te bepalen of producten voldoen aan wet- en regelgeving en voor certificering in aanmerking komen. Je kunt projecten aansturen en bent zelf inhoudelijk betrokken bij de beoordelingen. Je werkt aan diverse en uitdagende projecten, zoals ERTMS-systeembeoordelingen in Zweden, veiligheidsbeoordelingen van trams, goederenwagons en de HSL-Zuid, en aanpassingen aan treinbeveiligingssystemen en infrastructuur. Daarnaast beoordeel je uiteenlopende spoorwegsystemen, van bovenleidingen tot rolstoelliften. Je maakt deel uit van de vakgroep certificering met zes collega’s en werkt nauw samen met interne specialisten, externe deskundigen en partnerorganisaties om klantvragen succesvol te realiseren.
